Yesterday, the 28th of August, marked the 100th birthday of one of the most influental, most creative, and most kind creators:
Jack Kirby (born Jacob Kurtzberg /ˈkɜːrtsbɜːrɡ/; August 28, 1917 – February 6, 1994)

I grew up, first on DC comics, but when I was in y twenties, I discovered Marvel Comics, and his work cannot be marked too high in how it changed me. As much as Batman and Superman are great figures, for me, the Fantastic Four, Hulk, Captain America, Thor, and all those great characters and stories, what a genius, and yet, he hammered them out on a constant basis, just to create one of them would have made him a legend, in my opinion.
