Time for emancipation and self-determination
It's just ridiculous how some people have to put a label on everything in the sense that they seem to have serious problems with the diversity of human sexuality and, in reality, serious problems with themselves.
I think that in the 21st century, we should finally recognize and respect human, and yes: sexual, diversity and the fact that we're not all born "straight" (that just happens to be the one identity that society wants to impose on all of us) and neither have to pretend to be so.
Is there anything wrong with something or someone being "gay"?
I would recommend that people just explore and enjoy themselves without any prejudice, fear or stereotyping and do not let their sexual life and identity being dictated by homophobia or other pathological and totally obsolete mindsets.
As a result, there won't be any need to distance oneself from one's own desires and feelings, but instead there will be the freedom to fully embrace and live them in an individual and self-determined manner.
