Seccuro Reacts to Beebe Release Date

In March, William Beebe was found guilty of sexually assaulting Liz Seccuro at a party at UVA in 1984. The case made national headlines. And it's making headlines again.

Beebe is at the Charlottesville-Albemarle Regional Jail now, but not for much longer. The Department of Corrections said he will be released on September 17, after serving just six months of an 18 month sentence.

SEXUAL ASSAULT: LV ****** gets early release

RICHMOND, Va. -- A man who sexually assaulted a fellow University of Virginia student in 1984 and apologized to her two decades later as part of the Alcoholics Anonymous program is scheduled to be released from jail on parole after serving six months of an 18-month sentence.
