After gorging ourselves this Thanksgiving, and watching football...O.K. replays of the Macy's parade...me and the boys started talking about comic book superheroes. Then, completely by chance, the topic of gay superheroes came up. I, of course, didn't know of any. Really. So I did a little research, and came up with this:
Brian Falsworth is the *** of James Montgomery Falsworth, born like his ****** in Falsworth Manor in a village north of London. Brian and his friend and lover Roger, are both initially sympathetic toward Germany and supportive of peace between it and the United Kingdom. Toward the end of the 1930s, the pair go into Germany, but quickly discover the evil nature of the **** regime. Brian is thrown in prison, and Roger is given to German scientists.
It's part of the story of a British superhero named Union Jack. Do any of you folks know about any other gay or alternative lifestyle superheroes? Because this is new to me. I swear. Really.
