MAJOR Planned Updates/Fixes

• Auto add a channel for porn sites that have enough content
• Make parallel testing possible
• Implement night tests of the site
• Add price/payment type feature to sites. This will be connected to reviews and channels in the near future.
• Simplify filter layout - the proof of concept has been done, this now goes on hold for 1 month.
• Add a button at the top of the site that allows users to submit links, babes, gifs w/o having to go to those areas
• Building the design elements for a "sex games" section (then we will start building the functionality behind it in August)
• Onboarding new backend developer

Minor Planned Updates/Fixes

• Fixing the review image cropper so we can add better images to
• Time stamp + username tracking for when someone adds or edits a babe avatar in the FreeOnes admin
• If a site has to be put on backup or inactive, it's corresponding channel should go offline for users
• Download photo button (a placeholder that does nothing) should not be visible
• Adding filters to various areas of our admin to make the Cult Mother a happier person
• Minor improvement to the "show more" text on feeds
• Update text contrast on dark themes after submitting a link
• Minor update to premium users in regard to expiring memberships

• meta data updates to the review page
• Starting on work to make it possible to suggest cast, categories or tags to photos/videos/links
• Creating stopword database for comments
• Babe suggestion improvements (suggesting alias, official site, social media, etc)
• Getting a piece of content to not show on a user's "new content from favorite babes" more than 1x
• Fix email that is sent from FreeOnes when user upgrades or creates silver account
• Add statistics to the FreeOnes admin
• Fixing reviews so the latest review is the only one active (will deal with past reviews in the upcoming weeks)
• meta data updates to the review pages
• Adding a WYSIWYG editor to a subject's "extra text" so we can have nice formatting, bullet points, etc

Celebrity Site Update - CelebrityVIP

Just wanted to give this its own section since it's a big project that involves a lot of moving pieces.

One of the reasons it's taking awhile to get it online is because we've used this as an "excuse" to get our testing street refactored and updated. In a nutshell, we test things that YOU see and interact with 3 times.

- Once on a temporary "review site" that gets broken down as soon as myself or a tester sees it.
- Once on our acceptance environment, which is a clone of what you see. BUT if we delete 50 babes at once, or 100 videos it doesn't mess up your experience.
- Once it hits "production" which is the live environment that you use

The review part was badly done, so we updated the code to make it easier to use, faster to deploy and containing the things we need to test on.

Now that we have 2 more developers, we should be able to release the production version of CelebrityVIP mid August.

When are we going to see a fix for the horrible link replication bug? It is making it very difficult to create readable posts with links in combination with babe names. I'd be just as happy if you disabled babe name hyperlinking until you've fixed the bug; assuming that's what triggering it.

So far I can't replicate anything from "horrible bug". I've asked a few times for an idiots guide to replicating this but nobody has been able to do more than "it's horrible". Unfortunately, that's not how bug solving in software works.

Wow, this is so simple to trigger. Add a babe name that is recognized and turned into a hyperlink then follow it with a link and things get fucked up. Since I can't edit posts in this forum I'll show the example two ways, live and will attempt to replicate it here.
1. Go to post 2632 in https://www.freeones.ca/forums/threads/white-men-fucking-black-women.138322/ and look at the mess it made.

Interesting, in this forum "Sapphire Kiss" didn't get expanded, thus no bug in the post above but it is still there in the post I pointed you at in #1.

Another variation on this bug is link replication:

The links themselves aren't screwed up but they get replicated multiple times. If you edit the post, you'll see it also contains garbage that doesn't show up. Note there are four unique links being posted but eight show up along with the garbage that doesn't.

All I was trying to do was post this:

i.e. I turned off "unfurl=true" in the URL tag because it didn't do anything useful and it screwed up the post.


Another variation hard to show is where you "Insert image by URL" and then post a girl's name plus a link under it or often just a link under it. The link gets replaced with garbage, doesn't show up, and all you see is a picture. In that case and in many other cases, this bug or set of bugs can be worked around by using the "Insert Link" function (paperclip icon). For whatever reason, that usually defeats the bug.

Please do something about this bug/set of bugs, it is making the forum unusable.

Okay, I had a theory and tried it. In my post above, I tried to duplicate the issues Drake reported. There was no problem.

I then went to the Favorites section and tried it there. It screwed up.

Go to the post below. The post directly after (mine) is deleted. Click on "show" and it looks normal, but undelete it and see what happens.

Some additional information. I've found that the error is basically one of inserting more than one link into a post, not every time, but often. For me, this is usually from editing a post to add a second link. Note that when a girl's name gets turned into a hyperlink that counts as a link therefore it can happen on an initial post with just a single link in the form as in this:

Girls Name:
Link

but is much more likely in this scenario:

Girl's Name:
Link

Second Girl's Name:
Second Link

Allowing a link to unfurl or not doesn't seem to make things better or worse but I can't confirm that in every scenario.

I recently discovered that reversing things (putting the link first then the girl's name) seems to improve this problem, god only knows why, as in:

Okay, follow my instructions exactly.

1) Below the horizontal line, you see 4 links with names above the links.
2) Copy all of that (include the names) and include the line of ---'s below the last IAFD link.
3) Go to the Favorites Section.
4) Create a new thread and post.

If it doesn't repeat, I suspect it may be because of your account. Try using a non-admin account. We have had issues before where normal members had issues, but I didn't, so that was why I created a "test" account for myself.

Also, if you post just the links, it will post normally. So, it's obvious that the issue has something to do with hyperlinking. And, for some reason, the issue doesn't occur in all sections.

Lastly, I just tested this several times in several sections. It screwed up in some sections, not others, and in different ways. With the line of ---'s, the links repeated a lot, without the ---'s, it repeated about half the time, but on the other half, the last link would not post completely.

I tested your example 4 different ways:

1) links on first line, names on next line​

2) names on first line, links on next line​

3) names and links on same line: EXAMPLE> first last: hxxps://ww.example.com/first-last​

4) links and names on same line: EXAMPLE> hxxps://ww.example.com/first-last - first last​

On #1, it posted normally.
On #2, it repeated 6 times.
On #3, it repeated 6 times.
On #4, it posted normally.

I removed a babe from my favourites and her new galleries are still showing up in my "new content" links.
In my case that is Alura Jenson, probably some stuff remaining in some database records. Her page shows I'm not following her anymore.

Did it show up after you unfollowed her? or was it already there? and does it have any other girls you follow in it?

If it showed up after you unfollowed, you may need to log out and log back in.
If it was already there, it's working correctly.
If there's another girl attached you're following, it's working correctly.

regardless, we're giving this feature a bit of an overhaul next month but I need our front end dev around to do it.

@Petra has this problem at least been acknowledged as real and a bug report opened? Would be nice to know it is at least in the queue.

It occurs to me that this problem really only affects the people on your board who are attempting to be the best board citizens. Users that only post single links and/or images without a girl's name won't notice the bug. It mainly affects people like me that post links and/or images along with a girl's name and also when I post multiple links in the same post. Effectively, this bug punishes good board behavior. While I continue to follow board rules and best practices, I've had to come up with work-arounds that make posts look odd, won't be optimal in future when/if this bug is ever fixed, and it takes more time to do each post.

Separate question, is link unfurling coming back or was that a dead-end experiment?

1) I did follow her for years. Removed her a while ago and after that I even reinstalled my PC, to answer the log back in suggestion. Of course not for this problem.
2) That I don't really get. Sorry. The answer is probably yes and with correctly you mean you are aware of the situation?
3) No, it is not. It is showing up once. So not related to one of the addressed issues in the first post in yellow (which I noted/reported long time ago so I get that problem)

Also, you are calling that "working correctly" if that would be the case. But sometimes a link shows up 4 times because a babe collaborates with 3 others. Not sure of that would be remotely correct. But hey, it's getting addressed and I'm not the one deciding how user experience should be.

I'll wait for the overhaul but there might be a chance me reporting those same issues again because I won't know if it is a new bug because of the overhaul or the same old one.
