FreeOnes Site Updates - Week 23 & 24

MAJOR Planned Updates/Fixes

• Major bug where someone adds a gif but the thumb doesn't make it live when the gif is approved.
• Adding a brand new, non-porn site clone of FO that is celebrity oriented so developers who do not wish to work on porn can produce things for FreeOnes (yes, this is a constant issue)a
• A number of filters have 0, True, or False. Fixing so that they work as they should
• Auto add a channel for porn sites that have enough content

Minor Planned Updates/Fixes

• Only a title is mandatory when adding a GIF https://www.freeones.com/gifs
• Fixing the review image cropper so we can add better images to
• Can select "password view" when entering it
• Adding breadcrumbs to the collections pages
• Minor translation fixes
• Getting a piece of content to not show on a user's "new content from favorite babes" more than 1x

Updates/Fixes in the Upcoming Weeks

• Starting on work to make it possible to suggest cast, categories or tags to photos/videos/links
• Creating stopword database for comments
• Babe suggestion improvements (suggesting alias, official site, social media, etc)

Premium account update: as of this post, we are still waiting for approval. We unfortunately had to go through the entire compliance procedure with our payment processor which includes background checks and this can take some time. As soon as we get approved, we'll be able to turn premium on pretty quickly.

Ok first keep up the good work... I'm really beginning to like the new site, only I don't get to spend as much time as I would like exploring it.

I have 2 questions for you :
First what do you mean by adding "breadcrumbs to the collection pages"? What is it. I just never heard that term before.
Second question is one that I've asked and you mention something about maybe having it done by/or around the second quarter. So do you have updates you care to share about the progress on the "Sign-on Credits

Breadcrumbs are a navigation tool on web pages. This, for example, is the bread crumb for this section. If you scroll up to the top of this page, you can click on "freeones updates" to get to the section with all of the posts (instead of clicking back), to the about freeones section, or to the forums section, etc.


So when you're logged in, you can access these sections.

Somehow we completely forgot to add the breadcrumbs for each of the sections. This is what the My Photos bread crumb looks like:

So that's it! Now whenever you hear someone referring to breadcrumbs on a website, you'll be in the know. ;-)

As far as the credits go, I'm really hoping to be able to start development on the global credit feature in the next month or two. We haven't been sitting on our hands with this. I needed an internal "reward" system for the folks that help me with the work on FreeOnes. Basically they do a thing, then they earn 1 reward for the thing. What we need to do is expand upon this for general use and adapt the "things" to things regular users can do like log in, report a link, add bio info, etc and so on.

And of course we need to build out the part where you can redeem those rewards (i.e. credits) for something. So we have something, just not something you can see quite yet.

It's on the to-do list. Hopefully if I can get another developer on board soon we can pick it up faster.

Good news! Final verification from the payment processor is happening today for the premium account!

Because we had to work on a pretty important internal product in our admin, we didn't get as much done this week as we'd have liked. However, the good news is.... PREMIUM is going live TODAY!! woohoo!
