Because it's an apple product that has gained it's status only from the dedicated fan kiddies that have nothing better to do than beat the living shit out of each other for a better place in line 72 hours before the newest and trendiest piece of plastic and electrical bits are released in white?

But I wouldn't bitch if someone gave me an ipad, saves me from having to research other tablets.
