Iamforever, sorry but no you can't have my Omar cap. It has a place of honour on my wall. It also has something very personal connected to it for me. Of course it has something to do with a lady! But you'll get no more details other than that and that it was worn by him

Anyway bedtime now. See you laters

Nikkala made me do it!
3. In 1991, the Blue Jays were the first team ... to draw 4 million fans at home, I think.

6. After the 1957 season, the Brooklyn Dodgers moved to Los Angeles, and the New York Giants moved to San Francisco.

Oh I just noticed I forgot to mention above that the Cleveland Indians last won the world series in 1948. They lost to the Giants in 1954. If I remember correctly.

They are the only baseball team I know anything about. Blame Major League for that. And a lady I used to know from Cleveland. It's not that I don't like baseball I do. It's just that when if ever they show a game here in the UK it's at 2am in the morning on Channel 5. Some of us have to work for living and are in bed at this time. No use recording it as I don't get to see it till Sunday at the earliest if at all.

Except of course the White Soxs and throwing the world series. Ty Cobb, Babe Ruth and Shoeless Joe Jackson.

manny got #7 first. icer got #3 first. poggy gets half points for #2 (1948)
nobody has even gotten close to #6 yet. i guess thats the hard one then.

I have no problem with the forward for proof!

The reason I did not post the answer is because I looked it up and did not want to post the answer in case others wanted to take a stab at the question. (honour system at work)

Great question, iaf :hatsoff:

That was sort of a guess. I used to read a lot of books about baseball, and I remember something about that team being really horrible. Plus you said it was the toughest question, so I knew it had to be a team from way back.
