Time for my rant of the year.

As a lot of you know, I went all internet with my site http://www.vickyathome.com about 2 years ago, and even though I thought it was silly, I got myself a myspace page at http://www.myspace.com/vickyvette and a youtube page at http://www.youtube.com/user/OfficialVickyVette.

I paid strict attention to the rules... no nipples, no tits, no swearing, no nudity, no tit fucks, and no cumshots (how did I do that). About 3 weeks ago a video of me and Sara Jay talking on the couch was disabled by YouTube as a ********* of the terms of service. It had no nudity, we were clothed, and Sara at one point cupped her boob gently. It had been up for months. Around the same time I had a video deleted of me dancing to a Cheap Trick song, fully clothed, by MySpace but I did nothing about it.

As a joke, I did a blog on Myspace about a video being allowed where someone was held upside down and had his balls crushed by someone else with a guitar. I thought it was absurd to allow ******** but curtain a grown woman being sexy.... I then did a Free Speech video (up at youtube right now)... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jT8-8IuCBnM

I put that video up at Myspace and talked about the First Amendment and how we are encouraging a generation of **** that ******** and ****** can be watched but that a woman being sexy is ****** in the USA.

Well guess what, in the middle of the night, Myspace yanked all of the videos and even took down my blog about the First Amendment.

I am upset and maybe that is silly. I may be a blonde pornstar but I was trying to do something different. Instead in the last couple of weeks I have been censored and attacked by religious zealots for being a 'slut'.

Am I overreacting?

Those services are part of private companies. They can decide what they think is "appropriate." You're right about one thing though. Myspace and Youtube don't give a **** about violent imagery. No.... you can't do a bulletin without it being deemed advertising of one form or another. If I tell people who are members of my site to make sure they come to a camshow, then I guess that is advertising. They allow a hell of a lot worse than a milf saying check me out at vickyathome....

Use it? EXTREMELY rarely. Maybe to find old friends.

A way to contact pornstars? Not really. Most of them have so many poseurs with their name setting up bullshit pages.

Expect them to? Not really. Website is mandatory, myspace is just extraneous.

Freedom of speech and censorship on internet...

You are right Vicki, there is more and more censorship and less and less freedom of most things that are non-mainstream.

What you are facing now as an adult actress, other people are facing it in other activities.

Internet became big and powerful with new innovative technology very rapidly. The censors (whoever they are) took a while to catch up but now they are catching up and starting to close sites and to control others.

This is what happened in the last 2 months to sites that I used to visit :
My 5 favorite sites to share music (very good and well organized) have been closed.
Three of my favorite pornblogs have been closed... another one saw all his clips deleted. The guys have to re-upload everything.
A site that was showing artsy bondage photographs (not porn.... artsy erotic artistic pictures) was ****** to close.

And I know of many others...

It is like this for many non-mainstream acivities and I would add for all non-mainstrean political ideas.

The freedom we used to have on the net will be more and more restricted, and those who will pay the most are all the marginal or fringe activities and ideas.

Sure some jerks used that freedom to promote hatred and trash (neo-fascism, etc...) but others promoted different and valuable ways of thinking and living and don't be surprise if you find out that the hatred and trash sites will last longer than the others.

Its an interesting arguement, but Im reminded of the question that since when did anyones opinion online count for anything? Within the confines of the close knit community on a message board like this, yes it would have weight, but only carry so far as its members.

I just had a video removed by YouTube for "content inappropriate." Then I made a censored version of the same video, where I removed everything that could possibly have been what they had a problem with. But since they never tell you what the problem is, that meant there was very little left. The censored version is

I don't think your overreacting at all and IMO I think the USA is going on a slippery slope on what is allowed and what is not allowed under the first amendment. I think this mostly goes back to Janet Jackson and the "Nipplegate" incident (it may go further back). Unfortunately in this country lately, excessive ******** is a-ok (I've even seen it on the news) but show a sexy woman and they are watching her like a hawk no matter what she's doing as if she committed some cardinal sin or something.
