its finally here! fleet week (for those of you who dont know) is when the US Navy (and occasionally international reps) ships come into the San Francisco Bay and strut their stuff to the people. showing what they can do. the sailors and Marines are given leave, and flood into The City.
i make a personal mission to buy brews for as many of em as i can, prices to the wind.
while all this goes on, a spectacular air show is put on above the waters of the bay, and above downtown SF. including the Canadian Snow Birds and the famous BLUE ANGELS!!!!
besides that, on sunday theres the Italian Heritage Parade (Columbus Day Parade for those who dont give a **** about PC) starting at the warf and ending up in North Beach in front of St Peter & Paul church.
if your a Freeones member, make it out there. i guarantee youll have a fantastic time. especially sunday. ill be around washington square in a red/white striped polo, sporting a beard. i may just have abeard for you.
