First Impression Woes - Can't Top The First Time

Ever do something (or someone) and it was so perfect the first time that you avoid doing it again for fear of it not living up to the first time?

Among other things....There was a time I took a Valentine's date out to a restaurant once and the experience I had at that place was hands down the best I've experienced ever dining out.

The food was excellent, the service was better (unbelievable actually). It was Valentine's day so there were allot of people but the place didn't feel packed and all the courses arrive flawlessly on time..the cocktails, ********* and water were all timely served....

Topping it off...they have a foyer which is appx. 25 ft. from the Hostess to the door...as we were leaving the dining area approaching the foyer..we expected to wait a tad for the limo to be hailed by their valets (don't ***** and drive:nono:)...but as we approached the foyer and glance out the door...there was our limo there waiting.

In eleven years I have not been back to that place for fear that it could not live up to that experience again.:anonymous
