Finally stepped into the world of high definition!

It really doesn't even make since! I've owned a bluray player (PlayStation 3) for years, and had an awesome 7.1 channel surround sound setup with a 700 watt amp and large speakers, yet watching it all on a square 32" picture tube TV. Problem is I have always had rich tastes, but unfortunately poor man's money!
Until last week... I bought a plasma 42" Samsung. HH Gregg had a great sale on them. Got everything hooked up through my receiver/amplifier, looks and sounds amazing! First thing I watched was football, I can see every blade of grass on the field!

HD is awesome. I'm so spoiled with HD that I don't want to watch anything in Standard definition.

Microwave oven sized TV BNF

Then again, I've watched about an hour a month, so why waste my money on "upgrading"?!

You should see hockey in HD, you can see the lights up in the ceiling reflect on the ice, and small pools of blood after a fight.

HD is awesome. I'm so spoiled with HD that I don't want to watch anything in Standard definition.

I don't know what it is, but watching HD for an extended periods of time gives me a headache. I also hate that you CAN'T SEE SHIT during a dark scene.

Try adjusting the contrast and brightness up a little bit. I did mine. Dark scenes are no problem now.
