Leading his Renault to 3rd position of the Brasil Grand Prix in Interlagos, the Spanish pilot became the 2005 Formula 1 World Champion.
At the age of 24, he's the youngest World Champion in the History of Formula 1.
Colombian pilot Juan Pablo Montoya won the race while his team-mate, and last pilot to be able to beat Alonso, Kimi Raïkonnen (from Finalnd) took the 2nd place. Schumacher finished 4th.
But the season is not yet finished : The last two Grand Prix will be in Japan and China and there's still the battle for the constructor to win : McLaren is just 2 points ahead from Renault.
