As I've said in other topics, I'm a sex-positive feminist. As someone who appreciates and respects women, and also isn't overly thrilled with the repressed nature of society and the vilification of sexuality... what else would I be?

There are different "brands" of feminism, just like there are different brands of most political/social ideologies. It's not a hive mentality, where they all think alike and agree on everything.

Feminism is so ingrained in our culture that it's really just another way of referring to the fairer sex. Every woman in this country has benefited from the feminist movement, some feminist schools of thought are more radical than others, some are totally at odds with one another but, none of them would surrender the advances made in the women's movement.
