Any minute now the Democrats will start the riots, burning, looting, destruction DEMANDING that he be freed because not only is he a human, but he could get Covid-19 in jail. And because that's 1 Democrat mail-in vote that they would lose. And he was probably on Biden's short list for Director of Homeland Security.

Actually, bubb, that's not very far from the truth at all.
Democrats do not care for ANY kind of Law Enforcement. They pretty much want to get rid of ALL categories of it, not limited to the Police, Border Patrol, ICE, CBP, etc. (Remember the Open Borders Wet Dream)
There appears to be NO criminal, NO illegal, NO law breaker, NO troublemaker of any kind that the Democrats don't immediately want "an exhaustive investigation" so as to fabricate SOME way to blame Law Enforcement and release the bad guys. Protests (Riots) now always immediately form to defend the scumbags no matter how scummy their wrong doing. EVERY wrong doing gets defended / justified "by the Constitution." And EVERY Law Enforcement action gets crucified "by the Constitution."
Within the last 4 weeks or so, here where I live there have been 2 cases of Illegals Smuggling whereby car chases wound up in the BAD GUYS crashing and some dying. Guess who the Democrats here are blaming for having done WRONG?
Who's doing the illegals smuggling? Who's committing a CRIME? Who wouldn't stop? Who's evading arrest? Who was speeding? Who doesn't know how to drive for shit and thus crashes? But ............. apparently according to Democrat Law, if there is a case of illegals being smuggled into the USA, I guess they're supposed to be WELCOMED and allowed to go on their merry way. Trying to prevent the CRIME of Illegals Smuggling is apparently unconstitutional, illegal, racist, capricious, cruel and all the usual Democrat adjectives.
So yeah, in one of the 2 incidents, the Border Patrol is being blamed by Democrats for the deaths. In the more recent one, the Democrats are blaming the City Police. Throughout Trump's presidency, Law Enforcement cannot seem to remotely detain, much less arrest ANYONE without Democrats fighting back and threatening protests, lawsuits, petitions and such.

Chuck you are generalizing. You know better that that. Of course some are just like you say but I expect most are not. Republicans can do the same if it suites them Remember Benghazi? I know a lot of folks like me who don't like The Donald and his ilk but none of them want or believe any of that stuff. Maybe a Law and Order campaign will work, it did for Nixon, but not a lot changed for the general populace then and I expect it will not change now. Nixon forgot all about Law and Order after he got reelected as I expect the Donald will. Some shit needs to be fixed and will either peacefully or violently but will change.
