FBI employees gone wild

CNN gt hold of leaked FBI files about their employees bad behavior from the last 3 years. Below are their "offences":

- a supervisor who frequently watched “porn movies in the office while sexually satisfying himself” at work.

- an employee in a “leadership position” who sneak in 2 strippers into the FBI offices after hours.

- an agent who got drunk at a strip club and “exploited his FBI employment at the club,” while claiming he was “conducting an official investigation.”

- another agent did “unauthorized searches on FBI databases for info on public celebrities the employee thought were hot“.

- one made a sex tape with his reporter girlfriend and when they broke up tried to blackmail her with it.

- finally, one guy hid a camera in the FBI women’s washroom to record the female employees going potty.

There are corrupt people in every profession. It doesn't bear a reflection on the agency or profession necessarily as humans don't turn into super humans just because they work for the FBI or some other job. They're regular people prone to the same imperfections as anyone else.

I found some sources but I don't think there is anything unusual here for an organisation so large, a few people stray as they're all human and prone to mistakes especially if under pressure, that being said the employees should be as professional as possible within this particular organisation. If they start unlawfully arresting or killing people then I'd be worried but they are doing a great job so keep up the good work guys :clap:

Mistakes are one thing. Outright corruption and intentional impropriety is another.

I liken it to workers at the DMV taking payola for licenses, etc. That doesn't make the DMV corrupt just because corrupt or corruptible people work for them.

However, if they find out about it and allow it or are found to be covering it up wholesale then you could say the organization is corrupt.

Sort of reminds me of the mind numbed criticisms of ACORN. The organization had hourly workers who were not doing what they were supposed to be doing and in some cases committing frauds against ACORN. ACORN reports these frauds to which investigators charge the former workers..then critics armed with half truths (aka willful ignorance of facts) start criticizing the organization.
