Favourite Videogame

What is or are your favourite videogames. These can be any format (home computer, PC, console or even an arcade game). Past or present.

List the name, format (eg console, PC etc you played it on), and a mark out of 10 (eg 7/10 depending how much you liked it). Feel free to comment on what you liked most about each.

Here is a selection of mine:

GTA III PS2 (8/10) - The daddy of many free roamers today.
ICO PS2 (7/10) - quirky beautiful puzzle game.
Shadow of the Collossus PS2 (9/10) Unique very beautiful combat game.
GTA IV (9/10) PS3 - The daddys back!
Call Of Duty 4:Modern Warfare PC 9/10 - The best combat game I had played and arguably still one of the best.
Far Cry PC (8/10) Great FPS, still looks great.
Far Cry 2 PC (9/10) Wow got even better.
Doom PC (9/10) Just blew me away when I first got this
Sensible Soccer Sega Megadrive (8/10) Smooth fast flowing footie game, excellent.
R-Type Arcade Game (9/10) - Genuinely great shoot em up, set the benchmark for others of this genre.
Katamari PS2 (8/10) - What can I say, cant really describe it but other than you just keep rolling stuff in to a ball, very funny and hugely enjoyable.
I will add some more to this when I can think of more. It will be interesting to see what you guys rate.

I like the one where you set up two VCR's & each armed with the same tape rewind it in the machine, the quickest to finish wins. That's my favourite videogame.

MGS IV PS3 (9/10) - I forgot about this great series! :eek:

Goldeneye N64 (7/10) - One of the few games I played on this format.

i like the grand theft auto seires the soporanos road to respect game for playstaion 2 was priceless. but they should of had driveing levels around jersey just grand theft auto would have more fun. i will also be a mortal kombat fan forever now iam waiting for the saw game!!

I do love Elvis in Civ 2! But it's quite easy. Civ 4 more challenging!

test drive unlimited (pc) (10/10) nice car game with some cool hot cars^^
gran tursimo 1,2,3,4 and 5 (PS) (10/10) gran tursimo^^ best real drivin simulator ever
dtm race driver 1,2,3 (pc and psp) (7/10) a cool racing game with nice story
syphon filter 1,2,3 (PS) (7/10) better than splinter cell
tekken (PS) (7/10) nice fight game
buzz (PS) (10/10) some nice questions in it ^^ better play with 3 or more players
little big planet (PS) (8/10) nice funny game with some cool mods
all call of duty parts (PS/PC) (10/10) best egoshooter ever
battlefield 1942, 2 , desert combat (PC/PS) (10/10) nice multiplayer egoshooter
medal of honor underground (PS) (9/10) very nice story for an egoshooter
