Far Cry 2

Picked up my copy today. So far I've only done a few missions in single player, but been playing multiplayer for hours.

MP is rough around the edges but very addictive. Single player looks beautiful, there is a bit of a learning curve but you get used to it eventually. Easily the best game since GTA4.

Anyone else got it? I recommend at least renting it.

I think the main flaw with this game is it is just TOO epic. Even trying to find a mission is a mission in itself. Still, it's fookin' great fun. Malaria can be a bit of a menace, but I understand why they put it in there.

That sounds like the reasoning similar to those who say HIV and AIDS has an evolutionary purpose for existence........

Is Far Cry 2 in any way similar to Instincts? Or closer to the original which was better? Hell, I remember back when Far Cry did come out, I couldn't play it for 2 years and when I got it at $10 at Gamestop the hardware to run it was common and cheap.........Patience is the key for me wanting to play Far Cry 2
