Jill, to your mind, when it comes to the explicit photography of the naked female form, how would you best define the difference between "erotica" and "pornography" for the uninitiated?

i have a two part question. now, i've given both of these much thought, and threw out a whole lot to get to the real core of it all. i thought, what does the public REALLY want to know about Met-Art? Well, its obvious when you really think about it.

So, without further ado, i present my questions. and i truly believe that even that old evil bat barbara walters couldn't top this shit.

When I hear the words "Met Art" I think of incredibly beautiful women, most in their teens or early 20s, with trim and nubile bodies and REAL breasts with faces that are among the most perfectly flawless faces out there. 1st question - how did you get started in adult?

I was 21 and had some friends who were promoting adult sites that lived in the same apartment building with me. I was working a pretty tedious 9-5 job and always noticed that these friends had a really flexible work schedule and plenty of extra money to burn. So after a particularly long and bad day at work, I just walked over and told them I wanted to know how they sold porn. I first began promoting cam and dating sites via popular social groups and content submissions, soon I created a few sites of my own, and within a few months I left my day job and was working as a webmaster full time. And it's just spiraled from there.

What software/ hardware do you use for videos?

Our SexArt filmmakers shoot with Canon 5D3 and edit with Final Cut. All videos network wide are encoded with a multi-pass run of ffmpeg then shipped to our CDN.

Do you, as a mainly softcore company, face any restrictions in recruiting and / or shooting in those countries?

Erotic Art/Erotica is an art form that reveres the magnificence of female beauty and reveals the sensuality from within by capturing a moment of intimacy between a woman with herself or a woman with others. Pornography - while it takes on many forms - is quite the opposite IMO, with a main focus on depicting acts of sex.

We have a very selective process for our models and yes, we have thousands of beautiful women who submit photos regularly, but we only choose a very small percentage to work with as part of our commitment to keeping MetArt content the VERY best. While there are no strict written guidelines that the models must meet as far as height, weight, etc...there are certain special qualities that shine through in the photography of the models we choose and those can vary greatly. We also have an amazing Content Manager who I can credit with being a key element to our model selection process and playing a critical role in ensuring all content is top quality.

Many models are in fact from Eastern Europe and it's true that the women there are stunning. In recent years, we have had a growing number of women from other regions being added to our sites...again, it's more about finding that MetArt "look", regardless of where the women are from.

First of all I want to thank you for taking your time to do this.

Looking at the work that you publish I can see that it has a very distinctive and consistent look and feel to it even though it seem to be shot by several photographers. So I assume that a lot of time and effort has gone into developing the concept, including how the girls pose what they show and how they show it. My questions in regard to this focus, as you very well might expect, mostly on the girls.

I notice that all girls are very carefully and uniformly groomed, even though some have pubic hair none has even a stub around the anus, and the inner labia are almost always arranged very carefully and symmetrically (usually with the vagina slightly, but decorously, open between them). Do you give grooming instructions to the girl, or is this done at location before the shoot? And who makes sure that their labia are all-right?

Given the apparent uniformity, I wonder about how much direction is given to the girls during the shoot. Do you, one the one hand, just tell her to act naturally and seduce the camera as best that she can or do you, on the other hand, instruct her exactly how and where to stand and what to do. And to what extent do the model influence the shoot? Having a fetish for the female ass and anus, this is a part of the girl that I tend to notice. Since I do not have access to the full sets I cannot know for certain, but it seems that in some cases the girl hardly shows her anus while other girls seem to happily spread their cheeks apart and show us every detail in close-up pictures, and some girls look almost lustful as the anus opens up a bit.

So what determines if I get to see a girls anus, and, if so, how it is displayed?

And, oh yes, what poses and displays seem to be the girls' most and least favorite? What is their preferred way to be viewed by us?
