Have you ever thought about working in the porn industry? I am about to graduate college, and I am considering moving to California to work in the industry. I'm not trying to be a performer, but maybe a producer, director, or try to start my own studio or website. It seems like it could be very profitable. Anyone have any experience with this?

if you want to get into it, go for it. some people say its hard, some people say is easy. who knows. who hasnt considered it? well in a serious contemplation maybe not too many. like for myself, that sounds like an awesome job but the reality of it is, its not something i could do when you really think about it.
if its something you want to do, just do it! no regrets! if you you dont like it, you can always try something else.

No there isn't, theres a "Do you want to be in porn" thread.
I think you'll need to start at the bottom first and learn the business. As you'll find theres a lot more to it and just meets the eye.
As for me, the only way they'ed let me into porn is to be the bloke who cleans up afterwards

When i was a younger lad, i met Shanna McCullough in a NYC strip club, we talked for about an hour, she was soo cool....anyways, she told me that of course LA was the place to be to get into the industry, but she gave me the number of a place in NY where i could try out , she even said she would put in a good word for me!!! All i had to do was go there and strip and get hard and shit like that, well i chickened out the last minute....in hindsight i wish i hadnt, but thats how close i came.

Really? So are you saying you called the number and made it right outside the door before you chickened out? What makes you think they would have wanted you regardless? Got any pictures to show what kind of equipment you would habe brought to the job?Don't get me wrong, I'm sure just about every guy believes he could do it, but I kind of have to laugh that you consider yourself "that close" to having done porn, yet you didn't even go to the interview.
