It seems that The Gestapo are still out to get the normal civilian that doesn't break the law. It's a lot easier than catching criminals after all. And anything that stops the fascists breaking into a sweat is the most favoured way to go by them.
See instead of them shout to people running from them "Freeze, Police!" why don't they should "Halt, Gestapo!".
