Hi,
Tonight we (the people of Fargo- Moorhead, Nd/Mn, USA) face a threats from ****** nature. On one hand we know that the Red River is rising to its dangerous levels while we have a snow storm which is not helping us out any way. The people of Fargo-Moorhead have been working day and night to make sand bags and build dykes to stop the Red River from overflowing. In fact more than 2.5 millon sandbags have been filled in less than 5 days by volunteers. I have seen people of different ages groups and sexes come out of their homes and contribute to this comman cause. And yet tonight we all face the threat because the water levels on the Red river is going to rise to an all time high. Do you think the effort put by the people is going to bear fruit? Do you think the Dykes will be able to withstand the hydrostatic pressures of the flood?
