Do You Like The McRib From McDonald's?

I'm not a fan. I hear the hype every year with its return. I try it thinking this time I will like it. It ends up being my annual pork sponge sandwich w/BBQ Sauce, pickles, and onions.

I used to like it but now it’s just blah..

I don't know if you get him on the radio back there but I listen to Tim Conway Jr on KFI 640 out here. Conway Jr gets really excited over stuff. He absolutely loves the McRib. His enthusiasm is contagious so I buy one thinking maybe Conway Jr is on to something. He sounded like he joined a Costco Cult once mentioning drinking Costco Vodka in his Costco underwear. He really went overboard with his accidental shilling that day. He's comes across as a relatable regular guy even though his dad is a Cotdam American Treasure.

The sauce is way too tangy and sweet. Definitely not same. I'd rather pick up on cor family size bbq rib meal for $2.50 with 6 patties and a 99 cent french loaf bread amd male my own.

I’ll check it out. If they stream, I can get it.

McRib? That still a thing? I thought that died a well-deserved death years ago. Tried it several times and did not enjoy it. If I'm going to eat at McDonald's (apparently the world's most popular Scottish restaurant) then there are much better choices, like the McHaggis.

I don't mind the sweet BBQ sauce or the onions. But yeah, it's a bit too tangy for me too, and I could do without the pickles.

BTW, I just read that this gem from Coming to America has been brought to life.

The "Big Mick", huh? :D I wonder how long it will be before some tender Scottish people are offended and demand that the name be changed? 5-4-3-2-1...

If it was that great it would be a regular menu item, not just once a year. I personally like them tho, I wish they would bring back the "Big and Tasty" burger. That was a good fucking burger.

I like the McRib. They make a similar at gas stations. 2 for 3 or 4 or 5 bucks.

In a bell tower, watching you through cross hairs.
I watch a segment on some news show once about the McRib, and it is in fact, not only pork....but good cuts. They showed the prime cuts of boneless pork, cubed, and other things, like spices and fat, all processed and formed into a McRib. Actually, more like extruded into a mold of a chunk of ribs, then frozen to retain shape, I guess.

I have never tried one, and likely wouldn't. I would bet the meat is good, but I know the screwed up the BBQ sauce, and I tend to be picky in that department. I prefer it to be more spicy, and zesty, as opposed to sweet.

I don't mind it, and there's usually a good special for 2, so it's a cheap meal. I never used to like the pickles, but kind of learned to like them over the years. Now, when will McDonalds bring back hot dogs? those were terrible, but I would buy them again, just to remember how bad they were.

I've never heard of McDog. I'll try one. See what they do. It is all about the dog. Sonic merchandised a "Coney" It was an Oscar Mayer Not a premium dog. All of the onions or chilli could not cover the shitty taste of an Oscar.

They also had the illfated mcspaghetti and mcpizza.

There is one or two locations in the good ol USA that still serves McSpaghetti I think it is... or the other one.
