I was browsing down the list of topics and found same-ol, same-ol topics.. ya know.. 'WHOSE ASS WOOD YOU LIKE TO SPANK?!' and so forth.
But right alongside were strange ones.. 'ARE WE BEING CONTROLLED?!?' and other oddities.
So I couldnt really tell you why it popped into my head, but I thought of the question at the airport when you hit another country. 'Do you have anything to declare?'
I have to declare these five things:
1. I declare that december leaves me abso-frickin'-lutely no real time to enjoy the usual things. Ex: Standing on my patio, watching the water ripple and blow by.. thinking about past and present. Practicing guitar. ******** and being 'merry' for reasons other than holidays. Etc.
2. I declare that I'm sorry for not posting here as much as I used to. It's a nice way to blow off steam and stare at some tits at the same time.
3. I do declare, Mr. Beauregard.. that you.. ahem, I declare 2007 a fucked-up year all-around. *********** finally got some of that REALITY that was LOOONG overdue. Hello jailtime and rehab! I had a really bad breakup.. but it was one of those that were so bad.. that it provided all the closure I could ever want from it. Cut and (dry) burnt shut at the artery. Painful but hey.. I'm alive and recovering, so to speak.
4. I declare that the writer's guild strike is actually a good thing. Shuffle the talent. Give credit and credit-flow to where it is due.
But, um.. I sorta think the whole TV schedule is *****. I wanna watch my Lost season 4. Maybe pick back up on Desperate Housewives. (Marcia Cross nude! BOOYAH!)
5. I declare that 2008 is going to be better. I'll make it so. I hope your year is productive and joyous. (and if it's not, may you at least have the strength to deal with it as best as possible.)
