I haven't played that game, but I have played others which feature Oda Nobunaga, including (of course) the Nobunaga's Ambition series.
Played it, liked it.
A good bit oversimplified, as far as war games go.
I recall that it is just endless grinding (to no actual end) and time management for stage objectives was important. Go with Dynasty for more action or Nobunaga/Romance (ot3k) for micromanaging.
I actually played their other franchise a bit more, I forget the name but it was the english and french 100 years war game. A slow grind in a fast paced game, just like kessen can be.
