Dianna Marie Russini (born February 11, 1983) is an American sports journalist who currently works as an NFL host, reporter, insider, and analyst for ESPN on NFL Countdown and NFL Live. Russini joined ESPN and became a SportsCenter anchor in July 2015.[1] Prior to being hired by ESPN, she worked as the main sports anchor for WRC-TV in Washington, D.C.[2]
In the past, she was the youngest reporter ever hired at WNBC in New York City as a reporter. She moved to sports soon after moving to Seattle as a reporter and anchor for CSN Northwest,[3] News 12 Westchester and NBC stations: WRC-TV, WNBC, and WVIT.[4] In July 2015, Russini joined ESPN after Disney executives saw her sportscast in DC, she was soon picked up by ESPN to anchor SportsCenter.[5] Russini also anchors SportsCenter. She played women's soccer for four seasons at George Mason University and was All State in soccer, basketball, softball, and track at Northern Valley at Old Tappan High School in New Jersey.[6]

Prior to ESPN, Russini was the main sports anchor at WRC-TV (NBC4) in Washington, D.C. where she anchored evening sportscasts, reported from major live events and broke news on both television and social media.
Russini also worked as an anchor and reporter for both news and sports for NBC Connecticut before going to Washington. She covered the Boston Marathon bombing, reported live from Boston Garden at the first professional sporting event after the bombing and was one of the first reporters on the scene during the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary.
Russini moved to Washington after the news director for WRC-TV saw her reporting for NBC Connecticut on the UConn Women’s basketball team reaching the Final Four.
Russini has also worked for Comcast Sports in Seattle, WNBC in New York City, and News 12 Westchester, N.Y. She started her TV career interning at ABC News for Diane Sawyer and WABC.
Russini played four sports in high school and was a Division 1 soccer player at George Mason University for four years. A native of Bronx, N.Y., she grew up in Norwood, N.J.
