Denim Skirts?

I have been noticing that a LOT of photo shoots have the girls in denim skirts. I have not seen a girl in a denim skirt outside of porn for a long, long time. Are they still popular somewhere or does it have some other meaning?

I Love em on chicks and always have but they have to be really faded lite blue and have to be a certain length, otherwise meh

They look good, I just prefer to see the ladies take off 'normal' clothes and underwear. =)
