I'm not sure what the "rule of thumb" is for deleting threads, but, I was thinking about something that might help you guys out. In the FreeOnes Talk section alone, there are 500 pages of threads. I looked and... 325 pages are full of threads that haven't had a new post in over 1 year. 219 pages are full of threads that haven't had a new post in over 2 years. 130 pages are full of threads that haven't had a new post in over 3 years. 58 pages are full of threads that haven't had a new post in over 4 years. And, that's only in the FreeOnes Talk section. That's not counting all of the other areas. I don't know how much bandwidth or "space" all of those "unused" threads are taking up, but...why not just delete them? They're obviously not getting used. I know that one of the reasons you might not delete them is so people will have more search results, but, let's be honest...hardly anybody uses the "SEARCH" function and they'll end up re-creating a thread that already exists anyway. I don't know if clearing up all of that bandwidth will let you guys add more things to the site or make it run faster, but...just a thought. Ask not what FreeOnes can do for you, but what you can do for FreeOnes.
