"Dead Pool, Wraith and Silver Fox are now confirmed characters for the upcoming origin tale of X-Men Origins: Wolverine. The Hollywood Reporter confirms that Ryan Reynolds is playing Dead Pool, Lynn Collins is indeed Kayla Silverfox and Black Eyed Peas musician "Will.i.am" is John Wraith. They will be joining Hugh Jackman, Danny Huston, Taylor Kitsch, Liev Schreiber and Kodi Smit-McPhee in New Zealand, where production is already under way from director Gavin Hood."

I like this news. I've actually been hoping that Ryan Reynolds would be cast as the wise cracking smart mouth assassin. This is just like Patrick Stewart as Prof. X, Kelsey Grammer as *****, and Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man; it's perfect casting. I just hope they don't screw up the movie. The amount of people being added to this movie kind of scares me (why is Gambit in this movie?) but Brett Ratner is no where near this movie so there might be hope yet.
