Criteria you use to keep porn, or throw it away?

I was wondering if anyone does this.
I catalog my adult content, not just porn but also clips of girls in bikini's like Denise Mila and such.
As an example my folder looks like this

Blonds - Amateurs
Blonds - Centyerfolds and Celebs
Blonds - Pornstars age 18 - 30
Blonds - Pornstars age 30+
Brunettes - like blonds
Blonds short haired - like above
Brunettes short haired - like above

But alas my folder is getting to full, and I was wondering if anyone knows how to clean this out. Yes, throw something - mainly the crap - away . Done that. Cut out best parts of scenes and throw rest away. Dona that too. Back-up is no option, I want to keep everything on my PC. Buy bigger harddisc neither an option.

How do you do this? What criteria you use to keep porn, or throw it away?

"Stuff I've nutted to" gets its own folder and stays. A "best of" compilation. And any model that you particularly like or are obsessed with. I do have my entire Taylor Rain collection burned onto disc just in case we get invaded by the Chinese or something.

Animus wrapped it up in my opinion. There are certain pictures (Or combinations of those) or videos and such. Those get collected in a Best Of folder. The rest thins out over time. Some very hot new scenes jpin the club, some grow old and go away.

All in all, I more and more tend to go to consume streaming porn or erotica

I actually don't save anything onto my computer. I have a main Flash Drive always plugged into my computer and save everything straight to there. And I have that main Flash Drive backed up on other Flash Drives.

That said, I do have everything, not just my Porn, very organized in folders. I'm not a pack rat, so I don't like a shit load of crap to just be accumulating. That goes for not just my Porn, but ALL of my regular stuff, Docs, images, Software Apps Setup Files, Etc. So, I periodically do walk throughs through all my folders to see what all is no longer useful to me.

So, as more Porn goes into my Flash Drives, some other that's been there goes out. True, there is plenty of FOREVER elite, legendary, etched in Titanium in my archives Porn that I'll never get rid of. But, by the same token, during my periodic walk throughs, I always find expendable Porn that'll no longer be doing it for me, sooo POOF! Out it goes.

Some of the criteria that I use to make the call between keeping or shit canning Porn is:
(1) Low image quality images that might have at one time been hot enough for me to snag them are more likely to have their usefulness expire.
(2) Some of my folders for certain girls might have various photo shoots that are too similar, so I might do away with an entire photo shoot or two or three.
(3) Some photo shoots might have various images that are too similar within the photo shoot, so I'll do away with some of the individual images.

This past week I actually did one of my periodic walk throughs. As I recall, my Brooke Burke and my Lexi Belle folders were some of the folders that got some of the more substantial slimming down performed on them. Other folders got moderate slimming down and others got just some micro slimming down.

When I get new content I sample it through and if it's not something I like I delete it straight away. And still there is almost 1 TB of porn on my hd.

I only have 1.15 Gig of Porn. If I throw in my main stream actresses images, I still have only a total of 1.26 Gig of Babes content.

Then again, I guess the fact that I have Dial Up Internet is like a built-in Governor to keep me in check so that I don't download remotely too much Porn. :rofl:

Same goes for me. Denise Milani can pull on bikini's in every color on the beach, in the end nothing changes. Well the burgoundy / red one was awesome, threw the rest away. Your point is very recognisable.

My decision to keep something is based on a mixture of a few factors:
- How hot do I find this / how often do I think of this scene or set?
- How hard would it be to find this again if I throw it away and I suddenly "need" it?
- How big of a chance is there I will ever watch this again?
- How much space does this take on my ext HDD?
Every once in a while I go through my folder and delete stuff that gets a bad score on those. For the record: I don't draw up a score board up for every file, I just sort of use my gut feeling ;-)

That being said, my folder is now somewhere between 200 and 500GB big (probably closer to the former) and not shrinking...

The main criteria for me is whether or not the sex is hot. Good steady pounding with good chemistry between the performers with no fake ass moaning or silly fake "pleasure" faces on the females and lack of edits are mandatory keepers. In other words, I wind up deleting the majority of porn I get. In fact, I can't remember the last time I even bothered downloading porn with professional actors.

Um, define throw away? Years ago I converted all of my VHS tapes to digital, than the DVD's, plus I save everything that I purchase. I built a server, then I got paranoid, and built a backup server that mirrors the data on the first server nightly. Everything is sorted by actress, scenes with multiple actresses are symlinked to the corresponding performers.

I just checked currently I have 20 years worth (3.5TB) of porn, there are guys I work with that think that is piddly. We IT people are perverts, and digital pack-rats.

I have a 3TB external harddrive and Im not even close to filling it to capacity. When it comes to hardcore pornstars, Im very picky and selective of who I save to my harddrive. I dont even have a top ten favorite list. Luckily, all of the girls that could have been in my top ten were one-and-dones, and didnt end up having a career (or unluckily depending on how you look at it). You should only collect the most perfect women. Could she break your heart if you knew her in real life? If not she probably isnt worth saving into your harddrive. But I do try to collect every scene and photo set of each one - though I havent even come close to that for any of them. With softcore models and fitness models, the material available isnt as numerous, so I dont have to worry about that.
