"Cougars" are women that chase younger guys, how young?

I never got it because everyone defines "young" as different for a guy. Some guys may be old by age (22+) but look youthful as hell yet I have seen guys who were 21 years old that were balding and had wrinkly skin.

How young does the guy an older woman is chasing have to be for her to be seen as a "cougar" versus just being a random woman going for a random guy?

I think the idea is the exact age doesn't matter, it's more the gap between hers and his being like 20+ years. With the typical example being the hot, 40+ yo MILF who fucks her 18-20 yo poolboy, or her 18 -yo son / daughter's friends. Thus, if she's in her 50s, the "younger guy" can be in his 20s and even into his early 30s, and if she's 60+, he can definitely be in his 30s.

But it's also personal preference for the cougar, who will stick to her desired age range, where he's still full of youthful desire and vigor to fuck her how she wants to be fucked to feel young again. And then when he starts tapering off, or simply ages out of her desired range, she gets a new, younger guy.
