I completely agree. Fuck the cops.

If only I had a dollar for every time I saw someone driving dangerously.. speeding thru a light.. and then ten minutes later you'll notice that some cop somewhere pulled someone over for a busted taillight or to interrogate someone just WALKING down the sidewalk and hey, maybe I can rack up a drunk-in-public arrest! YAY FOR UNNECESSARY BULLSHIT! While they're in county jail you just raised the unemployment statistic by one person. Fuck you very much.

I don't think the cops did anything wrong. Once they were dispatched out there they had to make sure the kids weren't drinking alcohol. Like the chief said, they would have taken heat if they left and it turned out there WERE kids drinking. But they really must have felt pretty stupid. Plus I agree with the above post that their school overreacted.
