This is one of those stories that really makes me question what little faith I have remaining in our justice system... (Here's hoping it turns out like those assholes who killed that immigrant in PA, and the cops who covered up!)

And I don't blame you one bit. I REALLY try to be an open-minded kinda guy, however, I must admit that I genuineally don't trust cops or others in a power/athority lower, and in general, I always wear my seatbelt and for the most part, very much try to steer clear of them in my lime time. Not unless I witnessed a severe shooting/murder in front of me, or an assault/rape that chould be stopped or someone was breaking into my home would I ever willingly get involved with them.True, there are a few decent cops left in law enforcement, I suppose, but I don't wish to meet up with the vast majority of them.

Having been one for more than a decade, I'll tell you what I'd expect. I'd expect a man who took that badge to honor the oath he swore in order to wear it. I'd expect him to be able to suppress animal urges while at work, on duty, and performing his job. I'd expect him to do what he's paid to do, no matter how sexual the person is that he encounters.

But for you to lump all cops into one pile with this pervert is insulting to the profession and shows how small-minded and generalizing you are.

Clearly not. Police regularly abuse and exploit the law. This isn't something new. Look at the a-hole in DC who brandished his weapon at an innocent crowd of people for throwing a snowball. If you and your police comrades don't want such a poor reputation, then your best strategy would be to stop earning one.

It's so hard to find anything good about cops. If your about to be murdered and call the police you fear that they will help them. This would be rare, but having that thought in the back of your head doesn't make you trust cops at all.

Guilty get off alot in these cases, also innocents get locked up.

I was directly involved in a sexual assualt case a few years back.
I saw it, I chased the guy, I got his plate #.
A good part of it was even on video.
He also had 2 priors similar.

Hung jury 10-12, they plead him down to lewd conduct.
But he was a sick fuck who grabbed a girl, pull down his shorts and attacked her in a shoe store.
100% guilty.
Wound up dating living with the girl for a while,almost married , hot little thing.
Point: dont have too much faith in the court system.
especially with all the bleeding heart mentality today who think the criminals are the real victims.

Maybe I missed it, but I don't think the article said if the cop was fired or if he resigned. All I caught was that he now worked in construction.

What's sad about some of the replies in this thread is this guy EXACTLY fits the profile of a sexual predator - and some just want to throw the thread off because they think he's getting picked on because he's a cop. He's a sex offender who (somehow) made it onto the police force. The fact that he's a cop, charged with protecting and serving, who then abused his position just makes it worse.

How many other addresses had he pulled up and how many girls had he tracked? How many other girls had he pulled over that nobody knows about? He had disconnected the GPS system in his car that allowed the dept. to know where he was. Does anybody really believe this is the first time he did something like this? I would be pulling up the names of missing girls in that area and tracking where the good officer was during those times.

Wow, I can't believe I didn't see this until now. Is this a real story though? I mean, it says in the article that there were 13 jury members for this case. I don't know if any changes have been made, but I was fairly certain that juries consisted of only 12 members. Unless, the author's heart was a BEAT OFF of rhythm after suffering a sudden STROKE, which caused him to accidentally included the officer's penis during his HEAD count of jury MEMBERS. Ahh, I had to.

Anyway, if this story is real, it's absolutely ridiculous. How this is allowed to happen is beyond me. Stripper or not, nobody deserves that.
