I know, I know !! "They're" not spraying us !! OTOH . . . WTF . . .
on some days, these trails of condensation dissipate quickly behind the aircraft and on another given day, these trails expand and expand and . . . another one comes along and does the same. By mid morning, you have a gloomy overcast day as a direct result of this "phenomena". The sun had risen to a bright, crystal clear blue sky, and this happens !
I've scoped in on "the culprits" with my Zeiss glass and they all appear to be commercial Airliners.
So why the extreme spread, and nothing in between ?
Said trails either completely dissipate, say . . . a mile or two behind the aircraft, or the matter expands into a sizable portion of the sky with each pass. What gives ?
