So, just as a lark I decided to watch a Japanese baseball game for a couple innings. The game happened to be the Hanshin Tigers vs. Yakult Swallows. Well, on a lark, I happened to tune in and see a new Japanese Baseball League homerun record of 56 get set by Wladimir Balentien of the Swallows.
The previous record (55), shared by three players, has stood since 1964. So this is a pretty big, honkin; deal. Good job Wladimir! :thumbsup:
