Companies Steal $15 Billion From Their Employees Every Year

And at least another $150 billion from the government and consumers.

There have been countless times when a business tries to short change me, or overcharge me, especially car repair garages.
They will try to sell you parts or repairs you don't need, if you leave your car there for repairs, they will replace good parts with defective parts, or damage your car so something breaks in a month or two and you have to return for more repairs, etc................
Best thing to do is go to garages that specialize only in specific repairs.
I usually know when they are trying to con me, but every so often they manage to screw me.

There are brands and companies that I like doing business with, but the concept of brand loyalty is about as antiquated as a college education guaranteeing a good job. Ultimately, all companies and brands are driven by the profit factor and a smart consumer is looking for the best deal, full stop. Customer service, friendliness, convenience, and other issues weigh in, no doubt, but given two similar competing products, sentiment is not a deal maker or a deal breaker.
