Porn star Christy Mack can barely speak after the beating in which her boyfriend War Machine is the prime suspect ... TMZ has learned.

As we previously reported ... police say War Machine was involved in a 3-person altercation early Friday morning at their home in Vegas. One of the victims was described as the fighter's "significant other" -- and now Mack's rep confirms she was involved.

We're told the porn star is currently in "very bad shape" and afraid for her life.

Christy's rep says they're unclear about what happened in their home ... because Mack's injuries have made it difficult for her to speak.

The rep also says Christy's family and friends are willing to pony up a $5000 reward to anyone who can help police locate the fugitive MMA fighter.

Las Vegas police say they are unaware of the reward.

The rep adds, "We just want to find him. We are all very scared."

John, normally I find your input valuable and spot on. But I gotta disagree here. One situation clearly is a domestic battery and the other was a random crime perpetrated by a delusional Islamofacist, motivated by who-knows-what.

I kid around with the girls here but I detest people who actually hurt women. The wrongest things I ever did as a doorman was because some jerk struck a gal or grabbed her the wrong way. I'd rob him of his gender when I was able. Maybe this guy catches one from the cops. See what kinda War Machine he is if he deals with SWAT.

No clue what happened but whatever happened it doesn't allow him the right to use her for a punching bag. Hopefully they find this guy (If they find him DEAD - no major loss) and bring him to justice and send him away for a long time - if not forever. I am not a fan of hers (don't like all of her Tatts - ruined a beautiful woman's looks) but this is an unpardonable crime for which they can never be any excuse for.

I worked at a place 2 blocks from the beach and would see ladies walk away from where they were safe to the beach where anything was possible after midnight with a guy who was a total stranger and probably drunk. I'd warn them about meeting a Ted Bundy but they were much smarter than me knowing they had nothing to worry about. A homicide here and there over there and not all bums getting hot shots for snitching. Dead tourist central if you're that much of an innocent rube.

So nice when a lady's dreams come true. Like one of those Daniele Steele novels soon to be a major production on The Lifetime Movie Network. So empowering.

That's not really something a district attorney can pursue unless, God forbid, she were to succumb to her injuries. Even then, Nevada and other death penalty states have pretty stringent guidelines regarding the application. They would have to prove the victim was tortured or that the suspect had murdered someone else. Now if he'd killed a cop or a firefighter he would almost automatically qualify.

And Nevada has only executed 12 people since 1979.
