I can't tell ya how many times I've heard of people asking each other out as in (Will you be my gf/bf) through Instant Messengers or over the phone or just in a way that seems....cowardly? I've always been a supporter the enhancement in communication technology, for example I feel that E-mail is such a good way to save paper and trees, Phones are great when people need to make basic communications with each other. Even texts are cool with me because they can act as notes to people or hallmark cards in some cases. However I feel that those people who communicate very socially important things such as "I want to break up you." "Will you be my bf/gf." or like when someone starts talking **** to you but wouldn't ever do it to your face and I'm sure there are many other examples but I want to know what you guys think about people communicating in this way. Do you think it's cheap and even somewhat cowardly or do you think it still has meaning?
If you need an example think of someone sending you an email asking you to be there bf/gf? How would you feel about it?
