President Jimmy Carter has passed away. He was 100 years old.
He is one of three American Presidents who graduated from U.S. military academies. And the first from the Naval Academy at Annapolis. The two others were Ulysses S. Grant and Dwight D. Eisenhower who both graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.

I'm not a huge baseball fan, but everybody knows Bob Uecker. He was hilarious in "Major League". I know he had a huge following, and I'm sure he will be missed. My he rest in peace.

The earlier episodes, like #1 thru #13 were the best, in my opinion, although I must admit, I didn't know there were 42 volumes, which means I was wrong in saying I saw them all. I'm thinking I saw about half of them. But he did make some good movies.

Garth Hudson, the last surviving member of "The Band", has passed on. He was 87, and passed peacefully in his sleep. I wasn't a huge fan, but they did have some good tunes. May he rest in peace.
