Tax and spend, mostly the fault of Democrats. Following a balanced budget would be a good idea.

Tax and spend, abuse of social programs, wars, misuse of funds, secret projects, aid and pay offs to foreign countries, many things.

Obama isn't "more so", and if you bothered to look at the numbers you wouldn't argue. As long as the top marginal tax rates stay as low as they are the national debt will continue to rise. You can't argue with facts and anyone that can read can see the numbers over time don't favor supply-side economics.

There's no doubt that the national debt has continued to sky rocket under the Obama administration and it will continue it's exponential rise until it collapses if something isn't done. The problem "conservatives" face is reconciling how they're conservative if they supported the policies of Reagan/Bush/Bush. You're not conservative if you support what republican presidents of the last thirty years have done. And you damn well better know this-

Hard to say, but perhaps the first step in the right direction is to stop wasting?

Sell your car and walk to work, or use puplic transport.

One third of Americans are overweight.

Buy less food, eat less.

Would it better to use money for education, not to arms?
