Can most American women be bought?

In Scandinavia where I've spent the most of the last 7 years at, I find that women are extremely pro-feminist. They often take offense to men trying to buy them drinks and shit. They also tend not to care for big diamond rings and other such superficial nonsenese that has no real value. Of course, there are exceptions, but of the many women I've dated there, independence was more their thing.

When I watch American TV though, or when I'm in the UK, I find that women are far more shallow. You can impress most women who are not university educated, with bling and money. I don't know if it is that way in London or Oxford though as I only have experience in the shittier parts of the UK like Cardiff, Manchester, Newcastle, Hereford, etc. Is it the same way in America?

What I find most amusing is when women want equal rights and pay yet expect everything to be done an paid for them. You can't have it both ways.

There's also absolutely nothing wrong with a woman not wanting to date a broke dude with no ambition.
I don't need a rich partner but I need one who has goals and wants some sort of financial stability.

Maybe your perceptions are based on who YOU are interacting with and who YOU tend to be attracted to, it's not a reflection on women as a whole.
There are still a ton of women that aren't going to be impressed by your bank account or what you drive. Everyones priorities in dating and life are obviously different.

Aside money there are feelings and if you are not serious, not tender, careful and loyal to your beloved one, she will drop you. Also you have to put the line of dos and don'ts in a couple if you have never done that then it explains why you are alone. Love the person for what she is and what she represents for you, that is all I can say.

That is patently false. If that's your perception of women, it's no wonder you're still living alone.

Who said I'm living alone? I actually am with someone. Swedish lady.

I wouldn't want to date a broke ass person either so I get what you're saying. I believe in equality, give and take you know?

I've worked aplenty in the past, I also have a BA. I'm presently getting additional training so that I can increase my salary when I return to the work force.

I just can't respect a person who only wants someone for what they own rather than who they are. When I listen to American popular music or watch a lot of American films I can't help but think that people there place so much value on possession rather than character.

Why is everybody here thinking I'm alone?

I don't expect any man to pay my way. But I expect any guy who wants to date me to have his own career, his own assets, his own ambition and the ABILITY to provide, should a relationship and family form from us dating. I make my own money, I pay my own bills and that would never EVER change no matter how well off my bf/husband/whatever might be, but he's gotta be able to provide should something in the relationship/marriage change -ie. children, me getting sick/in an accident etc. But that goes both ways too.

Dear Topic Creator,

Anytime you find yourself in a thread where Will E Worm agrees with you, the proper course of action is to stop and rethink your stance. Then when you're done, you should probably rethink your life.

Sincerely,
Mr. Happy HappyJoyJoy

P.S.

Liberals hate the truth. They like to call people names, and lie about them.

You mean like calling them Socialists then lying that they're from Kenya like they did with that one guy...? That was the liberals, right?

This has literally NOTHING to do with Liberals or Conservatives. You have 100% failed to make any point with this post, and you should feel badly about it.

How about you explain, in full, what is wrong with what I wrote? What I know is that you attempted to be provocative towards me making empty claims about my personal relationship status which had nothing to do with the subject at hand, so you're not really making a very good argument for yourself.

I however do want to hear your side, if you're willing to explain it and not just be difficult. Constructive debates is always good. Just remember to keep it constructive. I asked if American women were like those you see on TV who care more too much about money. Your response is?
