I do have much respect for some of these women on the net who work in chat rooms.
I'm sure its not very easy. In fact I know it isn't because I know some girls who do this work in person where I live, I've even been with a few (not in U.S.) Many girls in various pages never know if they will even earn any money on any given day. No privates, no money.So its stressful.
I am not familar with how camwithers pays thier models.
Having said that I think any guy that would pay a girl 8-10 dollars per MINUTE let alone buy them gifts is either a multi millionare, desperatly lonely, stupid or various levels of each. I mean do they think one day these girls will be thier girlfriend?

This has always kind of been my take, to. Their your friend..just exactly in proportion to how much money you pay/give them, or how likely they view you to at some future point give them. CWH is particularly notorious in this regard; they charge like 8$ a minute then act like they are doing you the favor. Their rules are draconian and their entire psychology dedicated to viewing their customers as thieves who should get absolutely no more then the bare minimum they'll accept.
My way of dealing with them is always the same: i talk to the girl before the show, agree on the content before hand, tell them exactly how much i will pay, then get on with it. I don't have any illusion that their my friends or that they'll do anything for me that they wouldn't for someone else with money.
For the record, i go to porn sites to look at porn, not stroke the egos of people who make more money per minute then a good many people do per hour.

I have no problem paying for porn if i feel I'm getting my value's worth. To be totally blunt, 50$ is like, 2 trips out to dinner at my favorite restaurant; it's money, but it's not "if i spend this I'll not be able to make my house payment" money. I could easily see doing it, i dunno, every six months or so if i had a girl i really got a kick out of or a theme i really enjoyed (or could pick, which i'm sure they'd let me do).
And, to be fully fair, CWH's "pay site" side is a pretty good deal from a sheer content volume perspective (i dare say there's more video there then any one person could ever realistically watch).
But the whole culture of the girls pretending their your friend? That's bogus, and something i can't get behind, and something i refuse to partake in. Friends do shit like send you birthday cards and talk to you on Yahoo till 4 am, etc. Friends do not have rules like "if you ask for their IM name, you'll be banned" or "if we catch you posting pictures of our girls, we'll hunt you down". Friends don't treat friends like serial killers and thieves, as a general rule.
But buying porn? No problem with that, and something I'd happily do again given the circumstances.
