Sorry not!
Only good thing about it was the announcer the great Robert Conrad.;)

It's cool in the kind of retro-cool-not-really-cool-but-cool-because-it's-so-lame kinda way.

It was cheezy, way too cheezy ...

cool for the time, like Erin Grey in her youth in skin tight clothes along with alot of other young starlets
Forget Erin Grey (who is a cute brunette, but her body is lacking in curves), there were busty, curvy guest stars all over that show. I honestly think that show made me sexually capable, because I started jacking shortly after it first came on.

I used to love watching Buck Rogers on Saturday afternoons as a kid.

Prediction,Hollywood and it's complete lack of originality will develop Buck Rogers into a feature film, and to be quite honest,I'm kinda surprised that they haven't tried to yet, with Ben Stiller:thefinger or some shit like that.

Pamela Hensley perhaps? ;-)

No, the one episode wonder guest stars ...

Pamela Hensley perhaps? ;-)
Not quite. Although Pamela Hensley's sultry performances danced in my head as a pre-teen, and her profile and looks were clearly far more enticing that Erin Gray's, it was the clothing on other, countless, one episode wonder, guest stars that had me rising in my pants as a man of not even double digit age yet.

Women like Pamela Susan Shoop, Markie Post and Trish Noble (if I remember correctly, she has a wider figure), beyond just more well-known women like Playmate of the Year 1980, Dorthy Stratten and major actress Jamie Lee Curtis. Hell, even Anne Lockhart had a soft charm and looked sweet enough to eat from the neck up (even though she played a more rough character on the original Battlestar Galatica series). Julie Newmar was also in the mix.

A guide to just some of the guest stars is here:

I want to say that's a 35 year-oldish Trish Noble in the shot from Cruise Ship to the Stars. In fact, many women were in their early 30s (or very late 20s) on that show. With no bras, breasts were natural, soft, and even though limited in size (as with most any American TV show), still enough to entice me at a young age -- at least with those clothes.

Don't try to put those clothes on virtualy any 21st century actress. You had to have curves, and you didn't have to be a stick figure, just slender enough. ;)

Intriguing, no question.

I actually have a copy of this , FWIW. It's one of those books that open up at you (pop ups).

I think that the book dates back to the '40s :dunno:

Always thought the baddies had better space-ships....:1orglaugh

Uncool - I mean...........Twiki??

Loved it as a kid, but now I think its fairly mediocre. Didn't really have any depth that I recall or can see from watching reruns.
