My first and only question is, why are you so concerned with this?
This is a pornographic hall of fame, pure and simple. None of the accomplishments people made to get there have any significance outside of that particular industry. Are you supposed to include "AVN Hall of Famer" on your resume for jobs, porn-related or otherwise? If the industry was to go bust in five years, none of that would matter to anyone except the people who won (and even then they may not even care or regret it). Taking a leaf out of bobjustbob's book, how exactly is someone judged "worthy" to be included? Longevity? Popularity? It certainly can't be eloquence because I don't think it takes much to repeat the words "fuck", "oh my god", "oh ****", and "that feels ssssoooo good" over and over. I'm sure Laurence Olivier is turning over in his grave weeping that he didn't apply his aptness at the porn industry, I'm sure he would've gotten a lot more awards.
Most to all awards and award shows are superfluous and unnecessary. The Oscars, the Academys, the Golden Globes, the Tonys, the Emmys, they all display a certain amount of prejudice when it comes to celebrating certain shows and trampling on others. Why should the adult industry ceremonies be any different?
Bree hasn't made a movie in years, compilations shouldn't even count towards years active. She officially announced her retirement from the industry in October 2011 and said that "she hasn't done an adult film in over a year." So, four years. Four years. I'm sorry, even if I was remotely interested in debating whether she deserved this coveted award, four years does not constitute joining the Hall of Fame in ANYTHING.

That’s a fair question. On the surface, it might appear that I'm a Bree Olson fan. I am not. Like most other threads begun at Freeones, it's mostly for amusement purposes. However, I will admit part of my motivation for this poll is founded in the belief that there's no better fan-source than Freeones.com to weigh-in on the question of hall-of-fame worthiness with respect to pornstars.
So does the Hall of Fame really matter?
I believe that for any vocation or profession, it is always important to appreciate and recognize greatness. This serves to set the bar, thereby giving next-generation talent something to shoot for. With regard to adult entertainment, all porn stars are definitely not created equal. There are those you love, those you **** or avoid, and then everybody else in between. Everyone has their tastes and preferences.
For those rare standout performers whose talents have earned them broad and sustained appeal, shouldn't there be a special place (virtual or otherwise) that pays tribute to them? I say the answer is a resounding YES!
It really comes down to a matter of respect. Some of you may generally not respect porn stars... I do! Some of you may view porn stars interchangeably as not much different than the next - I don't. For example, for me Faye Reagan and Skin Diamond are two pornstars who I have tagged as standouts from the general porn pool. In my view, there are 3 attributes in particular that separates them from most others - 1) they are natural (no boobjob), 2) they are ultra-feminine (i.e. very submissive - I love that!), and their sexual behavior is mostly (if not 100%) genuine.
Obviously, these are two ladies I would LOVE to someday see recognized and inducted into the
XRCO Hall of Fame!

Looking at the current numbers, it would appear that Bree is not an XRCO 1st ballot hall-of-famer, but perhaps a 2nd or 3rd ballot inductee.

She was one of the hottest porn stars for almost 5 years, inlcuding being under contract for 3 years with Adam & Eve. 3 years is a pretty long "month/flash".
More important than her length of time in porn was/is her popularity and the quality of her work. And by quality, I don't just mean her technique in sucking cock or fucking. I'm referring to the fact that there just aren't that many porn stars past or present with her combination of gorgeous face and smoking hot all-natural body who also fucked with the energy and effort that she put forth in her scenes.
Bree for the hall of fame is an absolute no brainer.
