So let me get this straight...here's how I read it:
"I went out to host a party at Sapphire nightclub, and I was hanging out with Alexis Texas and Asa Akira, and we were all having a great time, just sitting having a few drinks, and anybody who knows what happens when you stop drinking for a really long time and then start drinking again, is that you realize that your tolerance has gone way down. Before I realized it, I was getting pretty drunk. So, you'd think she would call it a night, call it good...
"So we got in the limo and headed back to the hotel, and I stopped at the bar with a friend, (didn't she just admit she knew she was hammered?) and we were having a serious conversation, and I had another few drinks, and by that time, I was way past my limit and not really thinking about what I was drinking. By the time I got to my hotel room, I was going in and out of blacking out, and essentially what happened when I got to the room was, I wanted to cuddle with my baby,(yeah, THAT would be a good idea!) as usual—that's the first thing I want to do when I get home—and his dad was worried that I might hurt him by accident because I couldn't even walk straight (thank god there's a least ONE sane mind around this kid), I couldn't think, I was really, really quite drunk.(No Shit?!)

From what I hear from Lyndell, I punched a wall and not his head, so it was blown pretty far out of proportion.

Good post, Galatic. Anyone that hates on you for that needs a head-check.
1. The mixed stories and lack of photo evidence (except what word of mouth states) makes me question that. Besides, drunk people get bruises all the time, so who knows how they'd get there.
2. Is everyone at AVN then going home to their child that same night?
3. He DID stay at home with his kid.
4. Whether a woman can be the bread winner is not even close to being the issue here. It's 2012.
5. Again, this isn't about his approval/disapproval of her job. It's about drunk mommy stumbling in and freaking out when she didn't get her way.
6. Neither of them are angels in this situation. I support neither of them, but despite Tori being one of my favorites in the business, I blame her a bit more than him.
You were out at work? Great. You can't work without getting drunk?...Fine...but don't come back 'home' around the kid until you're sober!! It doesn't sound like she is able to balance both lives. If you're up all day/night taking care of an infant, and then your spouse comes in stinking of booze and in your face acting like a loud rock star, wanting to 'play' with the baby, and they get rowdy because you won't allow it - for the safety of the child - I guarantee you'll push them away, and not in a playful way. You'll push hard so they get the message.
It clearly wasn't about 'showing dominance over the woman' or a desire to be violent. It was to protect the child from the drunk mother.
So I say good for him. Could he had handled it better? I want to say yes, but what do you do when you only have a split second to react to a drunk?

The baby was left in the good care of her partner, so that is not a problem. I am sure that most of you know what it is like once you have had a few to drink - it is very easy to continue until you reach the stage that Tori obviously did.
Once you are that drunk, just how much good judgement do you have left? That's right - None.
Having sobered up, she realises what she did was stupid, has take all of the blame and apologised for it.
All in all, she seems to have her head screwed on right, and maybe she will learn a bit from this episode.
Given that she has not worked since she got pregnant, I would imagine that she has been at home looking after the baby while Lyndell was working, so she took the chance to let her hair down.
Galactic has made something of her size and suggests that it should be easy to restrain her. I can guarantee you that it isn't - with arms and legs flailing and her not wanting to be restrained, it is extremely difficult. Anybody that has tried to restrain a toddler in a temper would be able to tell you just how difficult that is to do.
