Brazilians fall in love with social network sites

"Brazilians may be best known for a love of football but social networking sites are becoming the country's newest addiction, according to research.

Data from internet tracker Comscore World Metrix show that the average Brazilian user spent 11.7 hours a month on sites like Facebook, MySpace and Bebo. Canadians ranked second with 6.5 hours and Britons ranked third at 5.8 hours a month."
