BLACKEST NIGHT 7 SPOILERS: New GL #52 Covers, Ring Promo
With the revelation of the first White Lantern at the end of Blackest Night #7, when Sinestro merged with "The Entity," the living embodiment of the White Light, similar to Green's Ion and Yellow's Parallax, DC has now released a couple of White Lantern associated images.
First, DC announced on The Source blog that a new Ring Promotion would be launched to complete your collection with the White Ring. From the blog, "For every 25 copies of BRIGHTEST DAY #1 ordered by 4/15, retailers can order one bag of 50 White Lantern rings, at $8 a bag."
In addition, the DC Direct "Power Ring Spectrum Set" will include a light-up white ring. All nine rings will be included in the set, with LED lights that can be turned on and off to show your control over Rage, Avarice, Fear, Will, Hope, Compassion, Love, Death, and Life.
On the comics side of things, the previously blacked-out covers for next month's Green Lantern #52 have been released, featuring the newest Lantern. Sinestro shows off his "Greatest Lantern of All" makeover, courtesy of Doug Mahnke and Shane Davis in the two covers. Both covers are available when Green Lantern #52 ships early March.
