Anybody try this? I bought some after Don Frye and Dan Severn gave it a mention on the podcast. Black Rifle Coffee is both military and pharmaceutical grade coffee and if you drink too much of it you will become so masculine it might be toxic.

Or browse your local AAFES/PX and tell me what military grade is.
IMO, military grade is 'lowest bidder. Possibly edible, Government institution only' written on the side.

I used to work with this guy(owners kid), and he was all gung ho about his Colt AR15, and his Colt AR9, and whenever asked would recommend Colt as the BEST EVER, and would bad mouth other brands he knew nothing about. His chest thumping was always accompanied with, "My guns are MIL SPEC." He was doing this in a room with a few people, while trying to paint me as clueless. I stopped it by telling him in front of everybody, all mil spec means, is the cheapest possible price, and the bare minimum qualifications. Maybe do what I do, and try to exceed that. The I walked away.

I believe I read somewhere that, medium roast coffee actually has more caffeine than dark roast, because the roasting process cooks off some of the caffeine. I do like dark roast, and espresso certainly is delicious, but on the regular, I drink Columbian roast.

Indeed. In the most logical way, cooking 'cooks' off what you are after.
Which, to go on a side tangent.. is the bane of your existence if you ever cook steaks in a kitchen.

When you smoke cigarettes and drink black coffee ... your brain can only keep one stimulant at a time ... this results in your brain storing the nicotine (as it is a much stronger stimulant than caffeine) this results in the caffeine getting excreted through the kidneys and bladder and out of your body through your urine. Now if you are shooting dope, then the nicotine gets excreted and the heroin stays. Same premise.

Having my first cup of the Black Rifle Coffee. Tastes like strong Colombian with the same type of flavor. It's good and fairly strong but I also like my Peet's French Roast that I usually buy. The Black Rifle Coffee was on sale and I paid $9.99 for a 12 Oz bag instead of $15.99. If it is on sale again I may pick some up but I'm fine with the French Roast too.

Finished the bag of coffee the other day. Didn't exactly turn me into a coked-out tactical Bigfoot but still not bad. Try it if you can find it for a good price. I'm also OK sticking with the French Roast.
