As a person whos ancestors sadly took part in the bad action back in Germany during the **** times, I feel sad that this did not work faster and that not a lot more people of jewish faith could build their state way sooner.

But I feel very glad, it finally happened.
Yet they still need to overcome the confrontation of different beliefs and interests there.
Maybe by building a non-religious state of Israel where everyone would be free to has his own beliefs in private? I think maybe the seperation of state and religion could be a solution.
The Balfour Declaration of 1917 (dated 2 November 1917) was a formal statement of policy by the British government stating that
"His Majesty's government view with favour the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people, and will use their best endeavours to facilitate the achievement of this object, it being clearly understood that nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine, or the rights and political status enjoyed by Jews in any other country."[
