Best karaoke songs

What are your favorite songs to sing at a karaoke place? My favorites are Radiohead's Creep and the Georgia Satellites's Keep Your Hands to Yourself. Depending on how drunk I am, I can also do a kick ass version of The Beatles's Yellow Submarine.

For my whole life I was only drunk enough to do karaoke once - a drunken duet of November Rain with my friend's now-wife. Everyone said it sounded good, but I have no illusions that it was anything other than a carry job. She has an amazing voice.

But then I went to Tokyo, and that all changed. That I remember, Enjoy The Silence (Depeche Mode) and Love Will Tear Us Apart (Joy Division) were definitely mine, but I honestly can't remember if Enter Sandman was just me or me and my mate. Oh, and I helped out one of the lady wrestlers by singing the boy's parts in Barbie Girl. Surreal.

I got a standing ovation after "It's Only Rock-N-Roll" at Big Pecker's (Logo: Foghorn Leghorn, drawn great, but just different enough to avoid a lawsuit) in Ocean City, Maryland.

"Soul Man"

"Mama Tried" - Merle Haggard. Some guy at a full table on my way back to my seat said I was "a little flat". I stopped to offer a polite comment ( "At least I had the balls to do it.") , and ended up drinking with them the rest of the night.

"Roadhouse Blues" - brought down the house at a company Christmas party. I was told I channeled Jim Morrison.. I still don't remember that night.

I won't do it sober, but get a couple in me and all bets are off

I have old phone vid had me singing a duet with a very drunk, very large buddy of mine. He lost balance mid song, tumbled off the little stage and took the monitors and mic stands with him. Then he barfed on the folks who tried to help him up. I've been trying to find the drive that has that all day but I have no idea where it is.

Don't worry about any of your family seeing your porn. Keep that clip away from them. Post of the month.

I've never done Karaoke in my life, cos I can't sing for shit and most of the time, the only songs they have are songs I don't know the words too, or not very well. Except maybe I could do Born to be wild by Steppenwolf (hey if Duke Nukem could do it why not me) or I will survive, but only if its the Cake version as its the better version if you ask me. Plus its slower and has monotone vocals, so even I could just about do that One day I just might get drunk enough to do it......If it was a song I really liked and they actually had it on their list, I'd hate to ruin it with my attempts at singing though.....
